We’re approaching the end of our Lenten journey as we stand at the start of another Holy Week. It seems incredible to think that this time last year we were trying to navigate the trauma of those awful floods, and in fact we took the decision to move some of our Holy Week services online because there was so much uncertainty about the weather. How has the year that has past since then been for you and those you love?
During this week, we are invited to accompany Jesus to the cross, sharing in his pain and loss, and then being caught up in the joy and wonder of his triumphant resurrection. I hope that you will be able to participate in person or online in our midweek services – Tenebrae on Maundy Thursday at 18h30, Good Friday (09h00) and 06h30 (communion) and 08h00 on Easter Sunday.
May God bless you and be near to you during these sacred days.
