A reviewer of JRR Tolkien's classic fantasy books once wrote; "The English-speaking world is divided into those who have read The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and those who are going to read them." Wouldn't you love to have that said about something you wrote?
I think the same should be said of the Alpha Course. Started in its present form in 1990 in England, over 37 million people around the world have now completed an Alpha course (in over 100 languages). A friendly and non-threatening introduction to the Christian faith, the Alpha course has been wonderfully used by God to change so many lives around the world. So, you are either someone who has done the course, or who still intends to :)
If you haven't done an Alpha course, come along to the church on Thursday 2 July at 6:30pm and join us for supper and a video presentation that will help you decide if you want to do the full course. No pressure and a lovely meal out! If you do decide to sign up for the full course, we start on 23 July and run for 11 weeks.
If you have done the course, consider serving on the team for this one, help prepare a meal, or join the team praying for our course. And please pray about who to invite on this course (we will send out invitations that you can forward on to others).
If you want more information, come along on Sunday and Myles will be sharing some details in the morning services and would be happy to chat and answer any questions.
