People who believe, should live in such a way that others who watch them will quickly recognise that they are indeed true followers of Christ. When we walk in the footsteps of Jesus, we must live like He did and do the things that He did. If you are unsure of how He lived then let me suggest that you read and study, in depth, the four Gospels. For the short time Jesus lived amongst us He never stopped loving, helping others, healing the sick, feeding the hungry and comforting the downhearted. Jesus was willing to serve. Matthew 20:28: "just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve..."He did things we turn away from like washing the feet of others! To be serious about your faith, this is how you should live it: Jesus must become visible in your way of living; you must show your love for others in everyday life. God's love for us is magnified when we respond to it with an obedient love, and this love is manifest when God becomes more and more visible in the way we love others, unconditionally and in our willingness to serve.
